Basic steps to get shooting ready based on the final script.

Basic This workflow can be adjusted and conformed to use with Confluence. Templates for each section can be created as separate page and Confluence tools could be used.

1 - Visual and emotional signatures

Create moodreal, reference photos, how should it feel like, define visual patterns, color pallette, preffered lenses, etc.

4 - Diagrams and shotlist

For each scene create an overhead diagram with actors, lighting and camera angles(shots). Template for overhead diagram in Adobe Illustrator can be found VisualStorytelling_Overhead_Symbols_CC.zip. Can be easily drawn here in Gliffy macro in Confluence.

Based on diagrams create simple shotlist. For simple shotlist, this template can be used: VisualStorytelling_Shotlist_Template.doc (can be transformed into Confluence template page later, task for davidbrazda61@gmail_com).

Shotlist should also contain scheduled time for each scene when it s supposed to be shot.

Storyboarding can be used for more complex scenes, VFX scenes or when it s necessary to communicate the idea to more people.
